When directional gain solves the problem

Rural & remote 4G/5G coverage

Properties and sites at the edge of 4G coverage need directional gain to make the uplink work. A 6-element Yagi pointed at the nearest tower can recover 6–11 dBi of effective gain — turning marginal signal into reliable connectivity.

SCADA & telemetry at remote sites

Remote pump stations, pipeline monitoring points, and mining RTUs where standard omni antennas don't deliver enough uplink margin. Point the Yagi at the closest tower and recover the link budget without installing new infrastructure.

Fixed wireless & CPE installations

Fixed wireless internet and CPE deployments in fringe areas where omnidirectional antennas fall short. The Yagi pattern eliminates multipath interference and concentrates gain toward the base station.

Point-to-point repeater feeds

Feeding repeaters and boosters in buildings or tunnels where the donor antenna needs maximum external gain. Directional Yagi on the donor side, omni on the serve side.

Omni vs Yagi — which do you need?

Choose Omni when:

  • ·Signal is adequate from multiple directions
  • ·Device moves or rotates
  • ·Multiple base stations available — carrier diversity needed
  • ·Ceiling or pole mount with 360° coverage required

Choose Yagi when:

  • ·Only one tower direction available
  • ·Signal is marginal — need every dB of gain
  • ·Fixed install, no rotation required
  • ·Multipath interference causing packet loss

Why engineers specify D&G Yagi

True broadband — one SKU for all AU bands

600–7100 MHz in a single Yagi. No separate 700 MHz or 2100 MHz models. Buy one part number for all Australian 4G/5G installations regardless of carrier.

Individually tested

Every Yagi tested on Anritsu Site Master before dispatch. VSWR and gain verified. When you're climbing a mast at a remote site, you need the antenna to work first time.

N Female connector — no loss adapters

Direct N Female connection to your cable run. No adapters, no additional insertion loss at the connector junction. The way professional RF installations should be wired.
