433MHz & ISM Band Antenna Guides

External antennas for 433.92 MHz wireless alarm sensors, gate motor receivers, garage door openers, and 2.4 GHz WiFi modules. Range losses from metal enclosures are the most common fault — external antenna is the fix.

Connector Quick Reference

SMA Female (most common)

Bosch CM746B, Inner Range T4000, RISCO LightSYS+, Hills Reliance XR, Ness D8X, Paradox EVO, Honeywell Galaxy, Hikvision AX Pro, Tecom, Crow Runner, all major lift gateways (Avire, Pixel, 2N, Robustel, Aristel, Esse-ti, Elefone), and 433MHz gate motor receivers (ATA, B&D/Merlin, FAAC, BFT, Nice, Came, Gibidi)

Use SMA Male to N Male pigtail to connect to D&G N Female antennas

RP-SMA Female

DSC PowerSeries Neo LTE modules (LTE-V4, LTE-V5) — RP-SMA is reverse polarity: the pin is in the plug, not the jack. Do not use standard SMA.

Use RP-SMA Male to N Male pigtail

MMCX (×2, MIMO)

Permaconn PM54 4G communicator — dual MMCX ports for 4G MIMO diversity antennas

Use D&G MIMO omni with dual MMCX pigtails

TNC Female

Centaur / Centair communicators (ADT, JCI, Wormald Simplex). TNC is threaded but larger than SMA.

Use TNC Male to N Male pigtail
