XC7100-WB — Wideband Omni
Wideband omni covering every active Australian 5G NR sub-6 GHz band, n28 (700 MHz) through n78 (3.5 GHz), and up to 7.1 GHz. 6 dBi from 1.1 to 6 GHz, 3 dBi below 1 GHz, 4 dBi above 6.1 GHz. L-bracket for pole or wall mount. Tested before dispatch.
XCY7100-LP — Wideband Directional
Directional antenna for 5G fixed wireless or fringe sites. 11 dBi from 1.1 to 3 GHz, 9 dBi below 1 GHz and 7 dBi at n78 (3.5 GHz). Point toward the nearest 5G tower; one antenna covers 600 to 7100 MHz.
XC3800-MIMO — MIMO Omni, Dual Port
Dual-port MIMO omni for 5G NR modems with two antenna ports (2×2 MIMO), such as 5G CPE, FWA routers and industrial 5G gateways. Covers n28, n1, n3, n7 and n78 on both ports: 3 dBi on the low band, 6 dBi from 1700 to 2700 MHz and 3300 to 3800 MHz.
Custom Cable Assembly — N Male termination
Low-loss LMR400 cable assemblies (keep runs as short as practical at 3.5 GHz) for routing from 5G gateway to external antenna mount. Custom built to site specifications — connector type, length, and entry gland included. Required where the 5G device is inside a building or enclosure and the antenna must be mounted externally.
Deployment scenarios
5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) — commercial premises
5G FWA routers (e.g. Telstra Wi-Fi Pro, Optus 5G Home) use internal antennas that struggle through building walls. An external XC7100-WB wideband omni mounted on the building exterior, connected via a short N-Male LMR400 cable, recovers 10–20 dB vs the internal antenna in typical brick or concrete-wall environments. At n78 (3.5 GHz) cable loss rises steeply, so keep the run as short as the mounting allows.
Industrial IoT gateway — 5G NR uplink
5G industrial routers (e.g. Robustel, Cradlepoint, Sierra Wireless) driving IIoT sensor networks or SCADA backhaul require outdoor antennas rated for temperature and humidity extremes. The XC7100-WB is built for permanent outdoor mounting. Connect via N-Male to N-Male cable assembly through an IP68 cable gland into the equipment enclosure.
5G infrastructure — small cell and repeater mounting
OEM antenna supply for 5G small cell and repeater hardware. D&G manufactures to specification in volume: custom gain profiles, connector selection (N, SMA, TNC, DIN 7/16), mounting systems, and IP-rated radomes. OEM pricing and design-to-spec available for order quantities from 50 units.
Rural site — n78 fixed wireless + n28 fallback
Rural commercial sites often have n28 (700 MHz) coverage but limited n78 (3.5 GHz). A single XCY7100-LP wideband directional antenna (9 dBi at 700 MHz, 7 dBi at 3.5 GHz) handles both bands — pointed toward the tower, it maximises link budget on whichever band the modem selects. No antenna switching or tuning required; the full sub-6GHz 5G spectrum is covered in one antenna.
