Robustel EV8100
External 4G Antenna
The Robustel EV8100 is an industrial 4G lift emergency phone gateway rated from -40°C to +70°C, with dual SIM and VoLTE support. It uses a standard SMA Female, 50Ω external antenna port. This guide covers the correct D&G antenna and cable for every installation scenario, including Australian and APAC deployments.

About the Robustel EV8100
Robustel (APAC HQ: Singapore) manufactures the EV8100 as an industrial-grade lift emergency phone gateway. The ANZ variant is EN81-28, AS1735, and RCM certified. LiftTech Australia uses the EV8100 as part of their 4G lift upgrade programme.
The EV8100 supports FDD B1/2/3/4/5/7/8/28 and TDD B40 — covering every Telstra and Optus 4G frequency in Australia plus key APAC bands. VoLTE is native and mandatory for Singapore deployments where 3G fallback is no longer available. The optional field-installed 18650 Li battery provides backup power for machine rooms without permanent mains.

Common installation scenarios
Machine room with extreme temperature range
The EV8100 is rated -40°C to +70°C — matching the thermal range of Australian rooftop plant rooms in summer. D&G's DG900MB-HG and DGY900-6 antennas share the same industrial temperature specification, making this a fully matched system for harsh environments.
Standard commercial building
For commercial and residential buildings with machine rooms at or above ground level, an SMA Male to N Male pigtail connects the EV8100 directly to an DG900MB-HG omni on the external wall or rooftop. 30 cm standard pigtail suits most DIN-rail cabinet installations.
Singapore and APAC deployment — VoLTE
Singapore has decommissioned 3G — the EV8100 is VoLTE native and mandatory for SG deployments. Dual SIM covers multiple APAC carriers. The DG900MB-HG covers all relevant APAC LTE bands including TDD B40 used in Singapore and parts of Southeast Asia.
Low-signal basement — Yagi on LMR400
Basement machine rooms in steel-framed buildings are among the most challenging 4G environments. Run a LMR400 cable assembly from the EV8100 up to street level or above and terminate into an DGY900-6 Yagi directed at the nearest tower for maximum signal recovery.
Recommended D&G Products for Robustel EV8100
All antennas and cable assemblies individually tested. Custom cable assemblies quoted to site drawings.
DG900MB-HG — 5GNR Broadband Omni
Primary external antenna for the Robustel EV8100. IP67 outdoor rated for wall or mast mount. Covers FDD B1/2/3/4/5/7/8/28 and TDD B40 — the full ANZ LTE band set. Suitable for Australian and APAC deployments including VoLTE-only markets.
DGY900-6 — Yagi Directional Antenna
For basement machine rooms and low-signal sites. 6–11 dBi directional gain toward the nearest tower. Pairs with LMR400 cable assemblies for long runs from sub-ground installations.
SMA Male to N Male Pigtail
Connects the EV8100 primary SMA Female antenna port to D&G N Female antennas. 30 cm standard. Custom lengths available for in-cabinet routing.
Custom Cable Assembly
LMR200 for runs up to 10 m, LMR400 for 10–15 m machine room-to-rooftop paths. Built to site specification with SMA or N terminations at each end.
Why lift upgrade companies specify D&G
Active vertical transport supplier
D&G is an active supplier to the Australian vertical transport industry including Hamilton Elevators NSW. We understand the EV8100 installation environment and can supply to programme schedules.
Industrial-rated components throughout
The DG900MB-HG and DGY900-6 antennas are rated to match the EV8100's -40°C to +70°C operational range. Every component in the signal path is built for outdoor and plant room environments.
Custom LMR400 cable assemblies
For basement-to-rooftop cable runs, we build LMR400 assemblies in any length with SMA Male and N Male terminations. Minimum insertion loss from gateway port to antenna N Female across all EV8100 LTE bands.
APAC deployment experience
We supply into Australian and New Zealand lift upgrade programmes. For APAC deployments including Singapore VoLTE installations, the same SMA Female port interface and D&G antenna range applies across all EV8100 markets.
